I should say I am shocked by this. Honorable **COUGH** But, to be totally honest I am not shocked at all. This is the state of our Navy. I about spit my coffee all over the screen when I read the reason behind the decision. What? Excuse me? So, OK, she did a good job up until she was in charge of people, and a billion dollar war ship. And, the kicker... She didn't just screw over 1 ships crew, NOPE! We let her do it TWICE.
We were stationed in Yokosuka when ol' Graf was running a muck. Good friends of ours worked for her. The stories I heard. They make the article look soft.
What makes it even worse, is she is female. Last I checked there were not a lot of female CO's running around. All it takes is 1 bad apple. And, yep, she did it! Makes me wonder what other female CO's have to say. As it happens Ian's current CO is female. I would love to pick her brain (off the record of course). I wonder what she would have to say? I don't talk about Ian's job alot, because well it's his job not mine. He doesn't run around his ship talking about how many diapers I changed, or the crappy dinner I fed him.. So, it all works. But, in this case, I had to say it. So this Graf get's to retire, collect a monthly check, and go on as if nothing ever happened. Really?
In other news, did any of you happen to see this Really Beyonce ? OK, I get it.. You are famous.. blah, blah, blah.. everyone will want to see the baby... blah, blah, blah.. Its for our safety, Blah, blah, blah. And, I mean who really knows if this father was not allowed to see his baby?
When I first read the article, I thought about Piper's cousing Emma (go read up on her, she is one tough cookie)... Back? Ok, then.. When I first read the article all I could think was good luck trying to keep her parents, Aunt, or grandma out of that room!
But, really, they could have gone to a private birthing enter and had a very private experience. Hell, I did. And, last I checked I didn't have 1.3 million laying around to pay for it. Makes me wonder if they didn't do it all for the hype, and publicity. After all isn't eveyone in hollywood competing with Angie and Brad??
Women today.... sheesh!

I think alot of it was publicity because plenty of celebs have babies and go WAY under the radar (babies are unpredicatable that way), plus the general policies hospitals have in place to protect babies from being stolen. I mean I'm just like UGH, can we move on! Plenty of women push babies out of their vaginas every second of every day, she isn't doing something special!
We don't know where we are going yet and probably won't until about mid-year. And it's KILLING me. LOL. You understand. I'm ready to get on with it, the packing, the house hunting, the planning, planning, planning involved with uprooting a whole family. Mail change, dealing with sponsors (we haven't had the best luck with them). Why they make us wait so long I'll never know. It's pure torture! LOL.
I always get pissed off when women make it to the top and then fuck up just like men do..who do they think they are?..
Yeah, women! ;-)
