This is Peyton's Obento for his first day of Kindergarten. His is mostly American food, packed in a plastic partitioned box. But, we live in Japan so its obento.
We have amazing bread here with the crust already cut off. So I made one in the shape of a ghost, (don't mind the arms they leaked grape). The other is just a regular half sandwich. I added chocolate heart, and bear cookies, accompanied with watermelon.
He will also dine on honey bread slices that he can dip in yogurt. He requested more watermelon so I added an extra container.
His drink of choice is a Q~! There is nothing like Japanese juice. It actually tastes like you are biting into a piece of fruit. The price can be a bit high, but I was able to find 2 packs of Q on sale at Jusco.

All of the boys have had a first day of school note! I know tomorrow will something very new for Peyton. At least lunch will be about the same..

I hope he has a great time at school. Love the lunch... I never got cool stuff like that in mine. Plus the only lunchbox I remember was an Archie lunchbox. How I hated that stupid thing!
