First day of Kindergarten.. Peyton was ready, backpack on, lunch in hand and trying to leave before dawn. Ian and I walked him to school, waited with all the other nervous parents, and hugged him goodbye. I think he is going to have a wonderful year. I really like his teacher. Not just as a teacher but as a person Dr. J is amazing. She loves what she does, and it shows.
I still can't believe my baby is in kindergarten. This past couple of years seems to have flown right by. Am I missing it all? It sure feels that way some days. Moving at light speed from one task or the other. Do we take enough time to just be. Reading, playing, laughing, and hugging? I'm not sure, and only time will tell.

I loved kindergarten - and with an awesome teacher, it can only go well!
My youngest started kindergarten this year as well... it was a sad day for me, but not for him!
