If you had 10 days...

What would do with it? Here is a sneak peak into a few of our 10 days.. There is a lot of lounging around with the kids. As I type this Ian and Peyton are trying to convince Piper she really doesn't want to play on Peyton's road. Battle Los Angeles is in the DVD player waiting for everyone to get home...
My fridge is very thankful for 10 days with Ian. I will let my fridge go. I'm talking science experiment bad. But, somewhere deep down (OK, not so deep down) I know Ian will be home to clean her up!
We really need to buy stock in K-cups. We ventured out today to clean the shelves. Pretty sure we succeeded. This will last Ian most of the deployment. I am pretty sure somewhere in the "how to be a Sailor" manual there is a chapter on coffee consumption. I can't say I blame him, 10 weeks of 18 hour days and I would need a coffee IV.
Perfecting our pool game has been a lot of fun. I have pledged to play plenty of Internet pool over the next 10 weeks, in an attempt to actually not suck quite so bad. Ian is a VERY good pool player, and I am well just not!
The boys have been little angels. Doing their chores, not fighting, and using their manners. Bah, this so will not last! But, I will take it for the next 10 days....

So, what would you do if 10 days had to last you 10 weeks????

this is a family blog so I will not mention any other ways to spend 10 days... (especially when you know that at the end of said 10 days it will be a looooonnnnngggg 10 weeks!

We turn off the phone and computers, and pretend that we are the only people on the planet.

If only we could do that everyday. Enjoy your time! *All of it *wink, wink**

Pack everyone up and come visit me. It will be crowded, we only have one bathroom, and someone will have to sleep on the floor, but we'll bake cookies, take the kids on excursions, and I'll be able to hug that lovely little girl person you've made!

I don't get it.
What can't you write about on a family blog?

I would play a 10 day long game of Monopoly, and that other unmentionable stuff ;-)
