A Drive By...

Well, more like a float by. Ian made it home a few days ago. He will be here for a few days and then we will say goodbye for the rest of the summer. He will not be home again until after school starts. We never really get used to Ian being gone and we will miss him terribly. But, I am planning a fun filled summer to pass the time.
Piper and daddy are having a lot of daddy daughter time. More like he is chasing her around and trying to keep her out of everything. I am spending a lot of time laughing and it all..
Peyton and I thought it would be a good idea to have a cake with daddy day. I bought this wonderful Japanese style cheese cake and we ate it. Now that is a way to celebrate~. For the next few days we will have a lot of family time.

Christopher is finished with school. His Japanese 2 final is tomorrow morning and I know he will do great! We are still waiting to hear about Christopher's summer job. His work schedule will decide a lot of our summer fun schedule.

Noah and I are watching The Fringe. Now that is a good show! Somewhere in there I can make it educational. Maybe have him write a paper on levitating?

I am trying to plan a trip for this summer. I might just get brave enough to take the kids to Korea for a few days. Wouldn't that be a great field trip!!

Aw, so glad he's home for a few days. Enjoy the family time!

If you do make it to Korea, it's a lovely place. Everybody is very warm and welcoming, especially if you come bearing children. ;) Even MORE especially if they're blond-haired and blue-eyed!

Drink up that Ian time, I say. And let me just say, that you are one of those amazing women who somehow make it longer than a weekend without your husband. That is so hard! Again, you are amazing!

ps...thanks for the rice advice. I will totally try it out this weekend.
