The movers showed up Tuesday with all of our house hold goods. The boys and I spent the next few days unpacking. As of this moment I declare that I will NEVER EVER MOVE AGAIN! I will live out my days right here in this house. I refuse to go through another move. EVER!
The movers were great. They unpacked all the furniture, and put the big stuff where it needed to go.
I was left with tons of boxes. It seemed for a day or 2 that I was tripping all over them. I somehow managed to get all of this into my kitchen.
I got to work, cleaning all the furniture and carpets, then unpacking box after box, after box.
The boys were great. Peyton had a BLAST at the CDC playing. His teachers were the sweetest Japanese ladies. He came home wiped out and ready for dinner and bed both days.
Boxes and more boxes!!
Christopher wanted to unpack his own room. Thanks Kid!!
It didn't take long for the boys to mess the room up! I will be cleaning again before bed.
I have yet to hang any pictures, or hook up Ian's monstrous electronic system. That will all wait for Ian to get home.
This tower is exactly like our old one. There are a few differences. Our house is set up opposite from the layout in Yokosuka. I think I actually like this layout better. There seems to be more wall space.
I like the bar/counter. The boys can sit with me and chat while I cook...
Notice my wonderful, beautiful NOT WHITE cabinets. I was so tired of cleaning all the white cabinets in our old house.

I really do like this Kitchen better. You won't be able to see the splashes of colors (awfully familiar to grease) stains on the cabinets.
Again a HUGE congrads to you all on making CHIEF!!!!!
Good news about the promotion!! That's AWESOME!!
I'm so impressed with how fast you're unpacked and ready for life! It's sooo much work to move and unpack and set stuff up and manage it all while having kids... wow.
You are a way better mover than I. It took me ages to get that far :-). Of course, I move once a decade or so.
Congrats on the promotion!
YAY! I love the feeling of getting all settled. And I have made this same declaration of never moving again myself. A few times!
Look at you go! You have gotten so much done! Let me know when you're really settled and I'll send the next batch of 24 your way.
Congratulations to your Hubs! Woot!
Looking homey over there. :o)
Have you discovered pomegranite 7Up yet? MMM.
Dang you got all that done in less than a week? YOU GO, GIRL!
Congrats to your hubby and to you too. No good man prospers without the help of a great woman. I assure you!
Congratulations all around! For getting the house put together and to Ian for making Chief!
